Typical Tunisian Mloukhia, also known as « Mulukhiyah ». It is made out of the « Jew’s Mallow » leaves.
The sauce is already cooked but you can add meat « lamb or beef » and cook it in the sauce before serving. It contains Tunisian spices like paprika, salt, black pepper, turmeric as well as garlic, olive oil and tomato.
The sauce should be served on a plate and be dipped with with bread, ideally a french baguette.
